Fire Safety Awareness Programme Held at Al Qalam International School

Al Qalam International School organized a Fire Safety Awareness Programme to educate students on essential safety practices and emergency response during fire accidents.

The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Department, Perungulam Division. The officers demonstrated various firefighting techniques and explained the correct use of fire extinguishers, fire safety jackets, and rescue equipment. Students actively participated and learned how to stay calm and respond effectively in case of fire emergencies.

The officers emphasized the importance of awareness, alertness, and teamwork during critical situations. They also guided students on preventive measures to ensure safety both at school and home.

Our Principal appreciated the efforts of the Fire and Rescue team for their valuable guidance and hands-on demonstrations. The session was both educational and inspiring, leaving students more confident and aware of how to handle emergency situations responsibly.
